Both coal drawings on paper and the acrylic paintings executed on wood – drawer bottoms – and the assemblages, are dated 2016/2017, and together, it compose a respectable tribute and a call for attention to the urgent need to protect the wildlife that has been gradually devastated by humans at any latitude of our planet.

Teresa Lacerda was born in 1947. She lives and works in Lisbon. In 1964 she completed the Painting Course at the António Arroio School and in 1991 the Stage Course at the National Conservatory of Lisbon.
