Curated by Sofia Marçal and produced by Ocupart, the exhibition “Tanto a tua figura” presents a set of unpublished works, oil paintings on canvas and on paper, focused on figuration and landscape. These paintings result from the artist’s incisive investigation into vision – the painter’s extended gaze and its correspondence with the real world.
The intersection of these works with the MUHNAC is due to the special attention paid to the study of the insertion of the figure in the natural landscape. It is the search in nature for a certain naturalness of the creative act and even of gesture, as if each painting were a musical note grounded in visual memory, in the artist’s own world.
