In \u00a0this series \u00a0of photographs \u00a0the artist dedicated \u00a0himself to the observation \u00a0and representation of Nishikigoi, \u00a0the noble Japanese fish, through staged \u00a0compositions, where the game of reflexes, \u00a0light and color is constant. The contrast between \u00a0calm and movement results in a photographic balance \u00a0that almost transports us to the painting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Born \u00a0in Belgium \u00a0in 1976. At \u00a0the age of 18 \u00a0the photographer moved \u00a0to London where he took \u00a0a BA in Art at Chelsea College \u00a0of Art and Design. Three years he \u00a0changed London for Los Angeles and ventured \u00a0a course in the field of Film and Television \u00a0at UCLA – School of Theater, Film and Television. \u00a0After living in Morocco and India for some time the \u00a0photographer returned to his origins, to Belgium, where \u00a0he continued his work in the film area.The crucial moment \u00a0that launched him into the world of photography occurred in \u00a02002 when he won the Worldwide Photography Competition with DzFuture \u00a0Adultsdz organised by Bristol&Myers. Along with the recognition achieved \u00a0by winning the award came an invitation from the DzBlue Travel” magazine \u00a0to photograph several parts of the globe for almost 4 years long.In 2006, \u00a0with a whole range of diverse life experiments, the photographer embraces one \u00a0more challenge and casts himself as a freelancer in the advertising world. In 2010 \u00a0he began his production company and established his studio in Lisbon, from where he develops \u00a0his multiple projects both to the Portuguese and to the international markets. And it is exactly \u00a0in the area of advertising that once again the photographer sees his work recognized for several times \u00a0by integrating the 200 Best Ad Photographers world wide of Lurzer \u0301s Archive, PDN awards, One Eyeland, Cannes \u00a0Lions, MIFA awards and a few more.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20″][vc_column_text el_class=”info-pagina” css=”.vc_custom_1531146364823{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]ABOUT<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0CATALOGUE<\/a><\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″]
