“In my work, series function like a portrait gallery to which it might be necessary to come back to, in order to confirm what had been identified or to add that which seemed to have been previously ignored.” Pires Vieira<\/p>\n

PIRES VIEIRA (Oporto, 1950). Studied at \u00c9cole des Beaux Arts de Paris <\/em>and at Universit\u00e9 Paris VIII<\/em>, in the early 70\u2019s. Lives and works in Estoril, Portugal. He held about 45 solo exhibitions and participated over 70 collective exhibitions.<\/p>\n
